What is The 365.52.12 Project?
The numbers refer to days, weeks and months. I record or work on a song every day of the year in 2011, and make and publish a song at the start of each week of the year. At the end of the year, I make a CD with my favorite 12 songs on it.
It's a project designed for maximum studio time, and to recapture the immediacy and joy of my cassette 4-track days. Sheer fun in music-making.
Some weeks, obviously, are going to be more difficult than others.
